This photoshoot from 1937 shows the contrast in the ‘undressing’ style of former Burlesque stripper, June St. Clair, as compared to a ‘typical wife’, who doesn’t disrobe with quite the same, erm, allure. The photos were by Peter Stackpole and done for the Allen Gilbert School of Undressing.
